A day dedicated to beauty, connection, and a little indulgence — bringing together skincare rituals, matcha, fresh roaming maki,, and curated beauty experiences in the intimate setting of Orli La Jolla.
EXPERIENCE FLOW
10:15 AM | Check-In + Welcome
Guests arrive, check in, and receive their beauty ritual kits.
10:30 AM | The Beauty Ritual — The Lawn
Guided facial sculpting, gua sha + lymphatic drainage led by The Tox Carlsbad.
Each guest receives their own beauty ritual kit to use during the experience and take home:
- Beauty headband
- Gua sha tool
- Sheet mask
- +other beauty curated products
A relaxing, educational ritual designed to leave guests feeling refreshed, sculpted, and glowing.
11:00 AM | Matcha, Maki & Mingle — The Courtyard
Following the ritual, guests transition into the courtyard for an elevated social experience.

Fresh organic matcha served throughout the morning.
Maki platter + Roaming Sushi Experience by The Sushi Social
A chef-led roaming sushi experience featuring fresh hand rolls prepared and served throughout the courtyard + Maki platter.

The courtyard becomes an intimate beauty playground where guests can sip, taste, discover & socialize .

Set against the sweeping ocean views of L’Auberge Del Mar, The Sunset Escape blends mindful movement, spa-inspired rituals, tropical touches, and moments of intentional relaxation into an elevated sunset experience designed to transport you.
The Experience:
11:00-3:00 pm | Resort Pool Access
Arrive early, unwind poolside, and ease into vacation mode with afternoon access to the L’Auberge Del Mar pool.
3:15 PM | Tropical Welcome
Begin the evening with a refreshing tropical coconut mocktail and a curated Pure Fiji gift bag.
3:30 PM | Sunset Yoga + Gentle Movement
Flow through a restorative yoga and movement experience overlooking the Pacific as the sun begins to set
4:00 PM | The Tropical Wellness Ritual
Explore spa-inspired wellness activations featuring Pure Fiji, L’Auberge Spa, and a curated collection of wellness partners.
4:30 PM | Sunset Sound Bath
Settle in for a deeply relaxing rooftop sound bath by the ocean as the evening transitions into golden hour and sunset.
5:00 PM | Closing Meditation and Kava Ritual
Close the retreat with a guided meditation—a final moment to slow down, reconnect, and carry the feeling of vacation home with you.
5:15 PM | Retreat Concludes
An intimate evening of movement, ritual, relaxation, ocean air, and tropical luxury—designed to feel like you traveled somewhere far away, even if only for an afternoon.
